Hotsling - Black - Size 7
Hotslings baby slings must be sized correctly to be comfortable.
The most important factor in getting the correct size is the shoulder-to-hip measurement.
Use a soft tape measure to measure yourself from the outer corner of your shoulder, diagonally across your body, down to your hip bone. The number (in inches) should be in the 20s.
Note that Hotslings are sized to hold your baby high on your chest. A newborn will be very snug inside the carrier. We find that this is more comfortable and prefered by experienced babywearers.
If you prefer to cary your newborn lower on your body - near your hips - then please size up. You may find that you need a smaller size for a heavier, older baby, but it will be easier to get a newborn baby in the carrier. More people need to exchange for a larger size than a smaller size - especially new moms with newborn infants.
